I’m Clinton C Lofthouse, an award-winning horror photographer, dark artist, and creative director specializing in dark, cinematic imagery. My work brings nightmares to life, blending surreal storytelling with high-end visual craftsmanship. Inspired by the eerie, the unsettling, and the unknown, I strive to create haunting, imagination-provoking visuals that leave a lasting impression.

My photography journey began at 30, driven by a deep love for art and storytelling. Balancing a factory job during the day, I spent my nights mastering photography and retouching, obsessed with transforming ideas into striking, otherworldly images. Over the years, this dedication has led me to create art for major brands like Crypt TV, Netflix, Nike, and Adobe, helping to shape visual narratives in the entertainment and advertising industries.

To date my work has been published globally worldwide in print magazines and online. Shared by global superstars like Slash from Guns N Roses, and won me the 2017 Fear Awards in the U.S. Not content with only sharing my work, I have taught Photography and Photoshop around the world to hundreds of students in places like Canada, Florida, L.A, New York, London, and Holland. I have also featured and printed in Industry Magazines as an industry expert teaching my photography and Photoshop techniques. Art is powerful, and I believe everyone has an artist lurking within them!

I thrive on creating visuals that evoke emotion—whether it’s a chilling portrait, a sinister moment in time, or a scene straight out of a nightmare. My process is heavily influenced by horror cinema, literature, Graphic Novels, folklore, the supernatural, and classic horror imagery, ensuring that each piece tells a compelling and immersive story. Films by masters like John Carpenter, Clive Barker, and Dario Argento, as well as the chilling works of authors like Stephen King, M.R James, and H.P. Lovecraft, have deeply shaped my artistic vision.

Beyond photography, I co-own **Dead Evil Co.,** which includes **Dead Evil Clothing** and **Dead Evil Tales**—a brand dedicated to horror culture and storytelling. My passion for the dark and macabre runs deep, and I’m always looking for new ways to push boundaries in the genre.
